This recipe was inspired by an earlier version of Jamie Oliver'southward Beef Stew and an sometime recipe from my grandma'south recipe box.
To make this stew on the stove-peak, simply permit information technology simmer on depression after calculation the potatoes until the potatoes are soft. This method will cause the potatoes to break downwardly a little flake more than and the sauce to thicken faster. If you prefer a stew that'southward not so thick, add an extra one/ii to i loving cup of beef stock if you lot're cooking information technology on the stove top.
To make this recipe in the tiresome cooker, simply follow all the stovetop steps until calculation the potatoes and the pour the stew into your crockpot and cook on high for 3-5 hours and on depression for 4-vi hours.
